You Are in Control

One of the parents typically registers all the family members to Fambit. This person registering the family automatically becomes the Admin user of the family. The Admin user can change the settings and forgotten passwords for the other family members. There can be more than one Admin user in the family.

Safe Place for Including Small Children

You, as the admin user, control who belongs to the family. No-one else can use Fambit to send messages or propose friendships to your children. Only family members can see your family calendar, photos and discussions.

Small children under 13 years of age have a simpler user experience:

• navigation is simplified to one page only
• disabled access to the chargeable Fambit Plus services
• Admin user manages all the user's settings

Connects Seamlessly to Other Online Services - Only When You Want

You can easily send a story or a photo from Fambit to your friends e.g. on Facebook or by email e.g. to grandmother.
